So far I have only one suggestion. On the total that is displayed, it would be nice if a user selectable currency sign could be put there and also for two digits to be forced after the decimal point. For example if my shopping totals £2.50, it is displayed as 2.5

It doesn't appear you can edit an entry once it is added to the list.

Also I put in a price of 3.59 and it is displaying my total as 3.5899999141693115

Lastly, I think it might be beneficial to add the notes field to the shopping list view as well. I anticipate using the notes to input the AISLE the food is located in. Unless you want to create another field that was used for AISLE location and another view that would be sorted by AISLE. This way when you are walking from AISLE 1 to AISLE 12 you can grab everything on your list in each AISLE as you move through the store.

Lastly, I think it would be neat to have a 'master list' created of everything you would usually buy. Then you can input the quantity needed for each trip. This way the items & prices would always be available and all that would need to be updated was the quantity of each item for any given trip.

I hope I didn't ramble too much and you understand, but I think you are on to something here!! I like the thought. Let me know if you need any further clarification about any of my points.

Thanks JKoder!

+1

The master list and aisle feature is a really good feature. I remember one from a while back that let you associate an item with a particular store as well. When you walken into the store, you select it and see the items you were after by aisle.

Any update on the shopping list? I thought it was a great idea, but I can't believe it's been almost 2 months. Has time really gone by that fast?

Anyway, just checking on the status

Keep up the hard work. I sure wish I knew how to create apps. It's definitely a talent!

... Guess this went by the wayside. Too bad, I think it would have been a great app.
