Late vote for Seidio's hard plastic screen protector. Costs more but mine is now 15 months old and hasn't a scratch on it! Wipes off like a glass window.

Best Skin Ever just ordered. . . are they easy to apply. Instructions look a bit tricky (soap and water on my 8130???)

I get Palm screen protectors at any Office Supply store. They are marked on back for the screen size, then just cut them to fit, I get 2 for each Palm sheet. They last a long time and change easy.

Scary to apply, but easy.

I turned off my Pearl, removed the battery, applied the skin, let it dry, hit it w/the blow drier for a few seconds (I know, I'm paranoid) and then put it back together.

Just read and follow the online directions...you'll get a link to them w/the product.

i just got this today, yea i am worried to appy this but i guess its too late now to back out. the thought of water and the phone dont seem to mix but it must work. so do you really have to wait 24 hrs to turn the phone back on? that is what the BSE directions say but its hard to be with out the phone for 24hrs? i was hoping i can do it late tonite and shut it off and turn it back on in the am?

hah yea, I had just got a new 8130 and I had the verizon adhesive on the front of it for 3-4 days but it was really pealing after going in my jeans today.

I'm just going to treat it like a new born child.

You can use the phone immediately...at least I did. If you really want to you could put it on and let it sit overnight while you are sleeping, but I didn't and things have been fine. I didn't stuff it into my jeans pocket or put it to any other rough treatment that first evening I applied it, but the next morning on it was normal use again.

TheBigNewt, how does that screen cover go on? Noticed on Seidio it says, no glue and that it is washable. And do you have a case or just the screen cover. Also is this the one they show for like $5.95??

Got my InvisibleShield screen cover yesterday and was so nervous about applying it. But it was VERY simple and seems to work like a charm. I put it on about 7pm and waited until just before work this am to turn phone on. Looks great.

However, does anyone know if you can take it off if need be?

Default 3m clear bra

if anyone is lucky enough, they could get clear bra used to protect the paint of cars, from a clear bra or window tint installer. thats what i do. made to look great since it goes on very expensive paint, and made to take heavy impact at excessive speeds.

Yup - it's removable, you can peel it off. But once you do it's a goner...you can't use it again.

And BSE yet respond to my Paypal open claim dispute. If nothing happens in the next week i will have to take the next step and escalate it with Paypal.

I like the invisibleSHIELD line. Its really durable and looks much better than the 3 or 4 others i have had in the past on other phones. You can order it as a full body skin, or just as the screen protector, plus they have a lifetime warranty if anything should happen (not sticking anymore, rips, etc)
