Default BBM mark messages read

Please Login to Remove!

I've searched around and cannot find an answer to this - when using BBM on my playbook, it tends to leave incoming messages as unread, even though I've clearly viewed them. On my BB itself, I typically tap return to mark a message as read, especially if I'm not replying to it immediately. This doesn't seem to work on the playbook - what am I missing?

I don't think they've built that functionality into the PlayBook (yet). PlayBook is very much a work in progress, lots of omitted features, and we're hoping that a good many of them will be included in the next major OS release.

I'm having the same problem with BBM messages showing as not read/opened, even though they've been read. it happened before, but I can't remember what worked to fix it. I've tried resetting the PB, but it didn't help.

There are quite a few threads around about this I believe.

There are many things you can do, some will work sometimes other not:

* Delete the conversation for the offending BBM message
* Terminate the Blackberry Bridge and Reconnect
* Reset the Bridged Blackberry
* Reset the Playbook

I tend to go in that order when resolving this issue on my Playbook.

Cheers,
--Phil
