Default Internet cuts out sometimes

Please Login to Remove!

It seems to only happen since I've installed Opera mini (and its only happened twice in the last week), but every once in a while the internet just completely stops working on my phone until I take out the battery. I was in the middle of browsing and it stopped working. Nothing else worked, BB Browser, Gmail, etc. Has anyone discovered this issue or might know of an easier way of resolving it other than just hard resetting my phone?

I really like Opera so I guess I'd rather just keep Opera and deal with it, but I'm hoping someone out there knows what's up

Sounds like a memory issue. Check your memory next time it happens and let us know.

I haven't installed anything new and my memory has been above 12 megs the last couple times I've checked. I also make sure all my apps are closed out. Any reason why my memory would fluctuate to a point where things would stop working?

12 mb should be decent enough, because I have been able to run my blackberry w/ smaller file size than that.

Can you please explain what you mean it stopped working. Do you mean you are not recieving any data, or does the phone lock up?

If you are not recieving any data there is a solution and that is doing a hard reset, which you have to do. I usually do mine atleast every other day to reestablish my connection w/ the network. This is a known issue that people have, but it is normal because even a regular computer have to reestablish the connection(internet connection if you have dsl or cable) at times. Also, it helps free up memory.

I still receive phone calls, texts, etc, but I simply cannot connect to the internet (maybe I don't receive emails either, I never waited long enough to see). Browsers doesn't work, gmail doesn't work, etc

Well that is defi. the problem. Make sure you do a hard reset every other day (they say every day, but I don't have to) because it needs to reestablish a connection w/ the network.

No way to have it reestablish manually without having to hard reset?
