Status as shown order complete since Wednesday afternoon, but there is no indication of whether or not the item has shipped yet.

I ordered Three of the Holsters and none of them will put the two units I have in standby. The magnets they are using are too weak. I pulled the magnets out and layed them between the 2 and 5 keys and it does shut the units down well two of the three magnets did anyways. One had zero magnetic pull whatsoever. The two that did work I put a piece of foam under the magnet and they both worked.

I did a little searching and found these. kjmagnetics.com/proddetail.asp?prod=D801 I'm pretty sure these will put it in standby! I'll follow up after they arrive.

I peeled back the felt on the swivel holster and took the magnet out out of a tired leather bb holder and added it to the thin magnet and reapplied the felt and it was a perfect fit, and it sleeps without an issue.

I ordered a holster with swivel clip because of my dissatisfaction with the OEM pouch from Blackberry. Go to seidio.com...costs $29 plus shipping. Just got mine a few days ago and it works great. Has rubber padding on the inside to prevent scratching the BB face and a spring loaded clip on top unlike the solid plastic clip on many others. Others had complained of the rubber on the clip coming loose...mine didn't have rubber there...must have changed their design.

I got your email. Seidio wants you to be completely pleased with our products. David Silver, our customer service Manager will contact you to resolve this.

The 3 pcs you just received may be the very early version. Since then, we have upgraded our magnet strength. We are looking into how did this happen.
The 7100i holster we are shipping now are with new magnet. Sorry about the problem.

Got it on Friday. Just what I was looking for and kept getting told didn't exist at the local Nextel Store. The only problem I've noticed so far is that the phone going into sleep mode when placed in the clip is hit and miss. Sometimes it sleeps, Sometimes it doesn't.

Well I received my Seidio Clip, and instantly put it to use. So far it work perfect. I am thinking i got lucky, the sleep mode work all the time, the clip holds the BB with no trouble.

The only issue i have is the clip is to small for a Duty belt. I have to use an old duty belt clip accessory for pagers (its a loop the has a slot in it that reduces the size of cilp needed) it works but makes the Seidio hang out quite a bit.

Maybe Seidio will make a clip for public safety, one with the clip a little higher and longer to fit a duty belt. If they do I would bet the local state police would outfit all there BB using officers with them.

The version you received is the new version that has stronger magnet. This is the version we are shipping now. The sleeper function will work perfectly everytime.

As to the duty belt, what is the size ?

I just received the holster from Seidio I ordered after reading through this and other threads. I had tried other cases off ebay and the nasty thing that comes with the BB that scratched a good belt of mine.

Perfect is the word!

I now have a well made, easy to use way to hold my new BB on my belt, and a magnet that will put my device to sleep and automatically change sound profiles and it swivels out of the way.
