No, the GMail app does not work on a 15 minutes cycle, it is not BIS Push email.

It is IMAP, I understood, which is instantaneous.

Your delete reconciles will happen fairly instant from the BB to the Gmail server. It sometimes takes longer if you delete from the server for the delete to occur in the GMail app on the BB.

I get the G-Mail through BIS and through separate App rather
instantaneously.
