Plus; shouldn't this not be in the Beta threads? And isn't there issues with people soliciting unless authorized? Eh, just throwing this out there.
....I wouldn't have said anything if it were actually free. But that's not being very honest.

Nick,
I just went through the registration process and it does not charge you for the 65/setup fee.. this is completely free... no hidden anything... if you have issues contact
;edit; Note: this does show a $65 fee "sometimes" but will not be charged... also this service is good for canada as long as your not paying for it!

Geoff,
Are you going to pull my registered information and process it too? I got the same error.

Is this available outside of the US/Canada? Like in let's say, The Philippines?
Most of all, how does it work? Free BES? Sounds to good to be true.

Hmmm. Hosted Exchange for $20 / month with free BES.
Or you can go with MailStreet (what I use) for $10 for Exchange and $10 for BES.
Search for a post from me from last year to get a pretty comprehensive list of Hosted Exchange and BES providers. $20 / month is pretty much standard for 1 Exchange mailbox with BES. The providers are generally distinguished by the amount of the setup fee and size limit on your mailbox.
With Mailstreet, I paid no setup and have a 2 gig mailbox. Plus, first month free.
I've been with them now for 6 months or so and I'd rate their service as Excellent.

I was really hoping that it would be truly "free BES" hosting.
I am located in the US and it is trying to charge me the $65 registration fee.
GTurner, if you could pull my registration that would be great.
Thank you.

This is meant to be creative feedback only.
I haven't heard back since my last post (see above) on Thursday. Whether your service is free or for a fee, your customers like to be kept inform about what's going on. Otherwise, no matter how affordable (in this case free) your service is; no one will use it.
Cheers!

I didn't sign up, but I did go through the process to see if what you responded with was true. With that said, I clicked on the 'Add to Cart' for both the Exchange 2007 and BlackBerry Enterprise Server products (two items total in my shopping cart). The sub-total was $26.90 ($19.95 for Exchange, $6.95 for BES). I then added the BBFREE promo code and the total dropped to $0.00.
Would I personally trust a third-party hosting provider for my email and BlackBerry services? No. See, there's an issue with privacy. Giving someone access to not only my email but also my text messages and PIN messages and phone call logs just doesn't appeal to me. Granted, I nor anyone else can prove that this is what's going on, however it is very possible to enable this level of privacy logging without the end user knowing. That's just a leap of faith that I wouldn't be willing to take.

Interesting thanks for the screen shot Jibi, although I am on the same page as you as far as privacy/security goes.

That is a very valid point. I am unsure the amount of logging that goes on in a BES environment like this, so I am not sure what can be recorded.
