Default Anyone tried out Buzzd for Blackberry?

I saw it was released on the appstore today or yesterday. Wondering what people think?

It is a location aware app which from their description it allows you to "connect with places, events, and people around you right now"

I am pretty impressed with it even though it has some limitations. But, its a great starting point to an app that I think I will use a whole lot.

It seems to merge online listings like citysearch, Poynt etc with an almost twitter style "buzz" which allows you to broadcast what you think of a place in real time. I really like that feature as its always nice to know if a bar or restaurant is packed or dead before heading out.

It also looks to have location awareness to help find places, events, buzzes, near you. Seems cool but not many users yet so I have only seen like one buzz.

Anyways, looks pretty promising.

Looks like a website launcher, not really an app, but I might be wrong.

No actually this is a full fledge blackberry app. They used to have a launcher type app that really wasn't great at all. This one is actually worth a look. I am really impressed. One of the better blackberry apps I have downloaded off the app store.

Works great on my Curve 8900. It didn't work right on my buddy's storm until he followed the directions that customer support gave them. He seems to like it now. Apparently he couldn't enter text into fields properly until he did this.

I think it is somewhere on the support pages at buzzd

Wirelessly posted (8900)

I like superpages and poynt too. But, its kind of cool to see real-time updates about places around you. I think it will really be better than those two once it gets more users and more content.
