I want to download some images and sounds from my PC.

However I cannot get the computer to connect!

What am I doing wrong - or more correctly what am I not doing?

Do you have Desktop Manager installed on the PC? Search using Google and you can find the link on the RIM website.

I ran into the same problem and could use some help with this one too. I do have the Desktop Manager. It also wouldn't let me download the latest software. Any suggestions?

You don't use DM to put media on your BB. Ensure you have a SD card & you go to Options - Memory - Enable Mass Storage. Your SD card will show up as an external drive when you plug your BB in. Just drag & drop your media into the correct folder.
