Is this the same WeatherEye that is made by The Weather Channel, and that can be downloaded from AppWorld for free?

Heres the updated version.

Thank you for sharing Weather Eye. They have expanded their locations which was previously a deal breaker.

You might also want to look at the free version of Worldmate Live. It has a great weather app as well as other goodies like a currency converter, trip planner, local clocks for 5 locales, and other stuff. They have a "Gold" version that allows you to do other neat things but I have found the free version more than adequate for the little traveling I do.

yep everything is good about WorldMate application except of one thing, which forced me to uninstall from my BB even that i paid for full year and another 5 or 6 months left to renew, it locks a memory cleaner to be enabled and doesn't gives you a chance to disable it, as it known issue that it takes ages when rebooting.

I was running WorldMate on so many devices before and loved it, but this issue annoyed me.

Of course, there's also BerryWeather Free of which I use the premium and BBWeather. If you don't care about the Home Screen, Poynt has a nice weather feature as well.

I use WeatherEye. It does what I want although occasionally it will display "No Data Available".

It took me a long time to figure it out, but after numerous wipes and upgrades, I realized that it was "Weather eye" that was causing my 9700 to freeze up all the time. Since it's been removed, no freezing at all.

The one app I had on my BB that I wish I had on the iPhone is Berry Weather. I love that app. I had the paid version and it was well worth the money. I still have it on my work BB.

Berryweather seems to have more features. Especially the premium version which I have. Try both free versions and pick the one you want. No risk. With Berryweather premium, you can set up a nice weather theme
