What's the best talking free GPS program that works with the internal GPS of the 8310?

I don't know of a talking free gps app, but this has been discussed several times in this gps section if you look you will find other threads asking the same question.

Yes it does. You can actually choose the voice... american man/woman, english man/woman... kinda cool

I tried it but I couldnt get it to recognize the GPS in my 8310

Do other gps apps work? Does the internal gps at options > advanceced > gps work?

Yeah other ones work. Googlemaps and beyond 411 both use the GPS ok.

So Far Nav4all is free and works very well. You do need a little time to figure however once you learn the basics you are ready to go. The greta thing is it has all of the maps around the world.

I alos use Wayfinder which is exactly like telenav however it does have a one time fee!

Bothe work great on a BB 8310 using Fido with BB Connect!

Have a look at amAzeGPS (www.amazegps.com) - less loaded with features as Nav4All, but a very good free talking GPS app.
