Default Insert SIM Card error

Please Login to Remove!

Hello my fellow BlackBerry users,

As of a couple of hours ago, my phone has stopped connecting to the network and is displaying X SOS where I would normally have EDGE. It reminds me to insert a SIM card. My SIM Card is in the phone and I have not removed it for nearly a month. Is this a common problem on the 8820? If not, what should I do? My battery was very low and I had just looked at my IMEI via the Status feature in Options. Currently, it's charging and it still displays "Insert SIM Card."

Help would be appreciated.

Regards,
Carey

I've tried that twice. Nothing seems to work.

Thank you. Figured it out.

I hadn't taken it out before the error for quite some time. However, when I turned it off and went into the device, I accidentally put the SIM in the wrong way a couple of times. I fixed it & it now works.

SOLVED.
