Default SMS - How to edit on the desktop

Please Login to Remove!

Hello!

Try for month to find some who can help us.
We want to transfer the SMS to the desktop (no problem) AND to edit and save them in a readable format (big problem!).

Any solutions for us?

Thanks a lot

What u mean by transfer SMS and save?
Do u want to save SMS in Device?

Anyway using push service it allows to send messages to BB Device via Serverside application. Severside application can be written using c#, java or php etc.

I think he wants to transfer his SMS logs from his BB to his desktop PC and have them in a presentable format.

I have no idea if that can even be done, but if anyone does...

I receive lots of sms on my BB a day and I know I can save them on my desktop by using the desktop manager. But I also want to read them directly on my desktop pc. I think it's a small step for a programmer but a big step for me. If there is a tool to read the ipd-file until end of file and write it into a readable file format I would feel happy.

take a look at
sms2mail
it is a small application i wrote and while i re-used the code in quite some applications my company decided to give it away for free.

sms2mail overrides your sms-receive-function in your BB, receives SMS and forwards them as an e-mail to a given adress.
per default the devices mail-adress is being used.
You get all received SMS directly to your mail-adress and thus into outlook (etc).
