Question Storm Wish List

Please Login to Remove!

Just wondering what peoples wish list would be for the Storm. Things that the Storm doesn't do that you wish it did............

For me:

1. SureType in Landscape mode. That would be a very nice feature to have. The buttons would be real big and in turn, less typing mistakes.

2. I wish the Del/Backspace key wasn't so close to the Enter/Send key. I've had times where I just simply wanted to delete the last character I typed and accidently hit the send key.

3. Touch not Click optional.

Any other wish lists out there?

I'd like to have the £ symbol available when i'm typing a text when i use the numbers key rather than have to hit the symbol key to then get my £ before using the 123 key to add the numbers

I'd also like the . to be part of the options available to the 123 key.

hope that all makes sense

I'd like to see the @ sign on the same keyboard with the letters, rather than having to go to the 123 keyboard... (lol the height of laziness..)

A timer for the camera would be nice too.

More options on the alarmclock would be nice. Being able to set more alarms in advance.

Like I know I can sleep late on monday and theusday but have to get up early on wednesday. Every week is the same.

And it would be nice if we were able to change the screen brithness. I want to know the time not reading a book next to it.

^^ This. I know there are pay for apps, but it would be nice to not have to buy them.

Would be nice if Chocolate Chunk Apps - BlackBerry Applications would make their WiFi Transfer and VLC Remote control available for the Storm2, would give me a reason to utilize WiFi.

I agree with lc & PsPaPa:

1. SureType in Landscape mode. That would be a very nice feature to have. The buttons would be real big and in turn, less typing mistakes.
Even with my fat fingers, I make very few mistakes using SureType in the Portrait mode...I just can't imagine how nice it would be in the Landscape mode!

2. I wish the Del/Backspace key wasn't so close to the Enter/Send key. I've had times where I just simply wanted to delete the last character I typed and accidently hit the send key.
Happens to me too!

3. Multiple Alarm settings would be nice.
I can't believe they don't have that.

4. Again, there's a app for this (and I have it), but really...the Calendar should automatically update to the day of the month, straight from RIM.

More functions workable through Synch on my Ford Fusion such as being able to play music through the Bluetooth connection instead of having to use the USB cord.

A mode that would conserve the battery when the network is down or partially down. I have found that is when the battery runs down quickly. Perhaps the device would go into a sample every minute mode with some indication that the network was down.

Wirelessly posted

I'm really interested to see if rim or a 3rd party application will develop something so that the actual clicking screen will be an option. I really like it when I'm typing text but hate it when I'm navigating through programs or the internet.

I would love to have Video Output through headphones jack (I know that is hardware related thus not possible with Storm 2, but it would be nice to see in the future) intended for Movies played on TV (aka ipod or zune can do) and also great for Power point presentations
