SORRY JSANDERS, I thought that I allready answered that...

I bougth this BB from a Friend, but before that I asked the Provider "CTI PARAGUAY" if this phone was claimed or something like that, I did provide them the PIN and IMEI and they told me that It wasn't, Until that i didn't pay for it..
Once they told me that it was clean I did pay for it. But wen I asked for the BB Package there, they told me that the phone was allready registered in another carrier.
The problem is that here in the country there is only one (CTI PARAGUAY) with the right frecuency for the BB that I have, so it can't be registered by Provider, becouse the phone is blocked for that Provider.
I try my self to register It in BlackBerry Internet Service and the system tells me "The phone is allready registered by another service provider"
As I told you the only "Service provider" where it can be registered is CTI PARAGUAY, becouse it is blocked for that provider, and in that site I can´t do it.

How can I know where It was registered?
Can I copy here the IMEI and PIN to you to investigate this?

Do not post the PIN and IMEI - no one can help determine the original carrier. When you turn it on, it should show a "splash screen" with the original carrier. It will also probably be the name on the case of the BlackBerry. That is the carrier where the BB is probably registered to, and they are the ones who can unregister it.

No, placing the PIN and IMEI here won't help you any.

What about this carrier? http://www.cwmovil.com/movil/Modelos...ry/default.htm

Why can't you go to this friend and ask where it was registered? How do you know it was registered in Paraquay, couldn't it have been in another country?

I don't have the BIS service option on my BB, how can i correct this problem?

Thank's in advance for your support.

I allready have it, I recieve a message from User "Blackberry", saying; Your handheld has been registered on the wireless network, and now when I try to set up the new account, I realize that the option for BIS service is not available on my phone; even the envelope with the screwdriver icon is missing.
What can I do? is there any way that I can wipe the phone SO and reload some SO with all the options available?

Best Regards

Yes, you can reload the OS again, review the notes already in this thread instructing you how to do just that.

The screwdriver icon is the tools/settings/options icon.

Your BB might now be registered, but you need the service books for your email accounts, so set them up like this:
Where can I log into my BIS account? - BlackBerryFAQ
How do I resend my service books? - BlackBerryFAQ
How to add / delete email addresses - BlackBerryFAQ

You must use Desktop Manager to sync your BB with your PC.
BlackBerry Desktop Manager Downloads - BlackBerryFAQ
You will likely want to get Version 4.2, Service Pack 2.

If you are on a MAC, you will need Missing Sync.
http://www.blackberryforums.com/mac-...uirements.html

If you say you can't do it with Desktop Manager, could you please tell us why you can't?
Good luck.

Thank's for the quick answer, I have the Desktop Manager release 4.2.0.14installed, also i have the BIS service runing

When i try to sync my BB with my Outlook, doesn't do anything, not marking has Readed or delete a message from the outlook when it was allready deleted on the handheld, Nothing happends.

One more thing, when i went to the Desktop Manager Sync options, I can't access that options, the button is disable.
