Default Wireless Software Update caused a major malfunction to my blackberry....

Please Login to Remove!

I was upgrading my blackberry software to the latest version and then afterwards decided to downgrade it, but during the process it all went wrong when i accidentally opened my battery which caused the wireless software update status to stop working for some reason and shows me this on the screen:

Wireless Software Update
Overall Restore Progress:
8%
Current Database:
QuickPull Pro Data
0%

and i've tried to restart it by pulling out the battery but still the update status still comes back to hunt me and wont let me use the my blackberry...its completely useless to me now, can anyone help me to resolve this issue...

I'm no guru, but my experience says that you can can reload the OS from Desktop Manager. I'm not in front of that computer right now, but search the forums for dumbapples trying to get back to 4.6 after attempting to upgrade to OS 5 only to find out it doesn't work on AT&T phones...

I don't think hope is lost... Just temporarily delayed. Oh yeah, and depending on the status of your back up, you may have lost everything - but you should get your BB back.
