Hi guyz,

I am a new Blackberry 8320 user.

I am not able to use Wifi to browse internet. Actually if I try browsing internet using my wifi connection at home, I get charged by Cincinnati bell for using their data services. Therefore I went to Options--> Mobile Newtork and then switched off my Data Services. I assumed that now my Blackberry will be able to access internet using wifi. However when I try to browse now I get a message "Data services are disabled. Go to Network options to enable".

Can somebody please tell me a work around so that I can browse internet using wifi?

Did you setup a wifi connection?

Turn Data Services back on.

You need to go to Manage Connections, there you should uncheck Mobile Network and check Wi-Fi.

I did all this and I STILL get Internet going over UMA which forces a screen asking me to payfor Internet services. How does one force it to just use Wi-Fi for Internet?

Resolved (for browser) ... I set the browser to use the Hotspot Browser instead of T-Zones .. and at least the browser now works
