Default Voicemail, Twitter, and Today Plus theme

Please Login to Remove!

Hi I had 3 questions regarding my blackberry.

1) Whenver I receive Voicemail, i get a text message saying that I received one. Is there a way that i can edit the setting so I don't receive those texts anymore?

2) What is the best Twitter app? I am using UberTwitter (which I like A LOT), but whenever i upload a picture, it uses UberTwitter picture (not twitpic), so other people can't leave comments on it.

3) I've been looking for Today Plus theme, but I can't find any good ones. The only one I found was iBerry, but I didn't like how it made my BB look like an iPhone.. Plus I have a Mac so I can't use Plazmic either. Is there any pre-made Today Plus Themes that I can simply download OTA?

Pleasee help by answering my questions!
Thanks!

1. This is a carrier thing and you cannot get it disabled. I get it with Sprint and it's a pain in the butt. Unfortunately it's something we have to live with until Verizon/Sprint changes their system.

2. Social Scope gets high marks from users. BBTweet, TinyTweet, and TweetCaster are also contenders. Additionally, Tweeteev is getting talked about but it's not out yet. The Aftermarket Software forum has lots of info on clients. I'm not a Twitter user myself.

3. The Tour is still too new to have many themes out. There are a few in the Media Center forum, but none I really like.

If I remember when I used Ubertwitter, in the options you can select which pic site it uses.

I'm not finding that option in Ubertwitter. Maybe I am missing something...

I'm not find it either.. i dont think that option exists. But compared to other twitter apps such as TinyTwitter, Twibble, TwitterBerry, i think UberTwitter is by far most pleasing to the eye and easy to use. but i'm still waiting/looking for that Today Plus theme :/

it was a while ago that I used it.
Perhaps it was there, and isnt now, or wasnt there and I mixed it up with one of the other twitter apps I used.

I wish Ubertwitter did have that option. I guess you could login to twitpic.com on your BlackBerry browser and post pics that way.

About the Today Plus theme... have you looked in our theme section, Media Center? Also look on theme sites. I don't look at today themes because I don't need one.

I really wished UberTwitter had that option too.. Twitpic lets other people see all the other pictures you've posted before when UberTwitter picture upload doesn't let you do that (it shows you the location, but thats kind of pointless). And about the Today Theme, i found the perfect one for me. I was looking for a simple theme, just like the precision zen i was using, but with messages and calendar in my background. i foudnd it at Free BlackBerry Tour Themes (it was the very last one on the main page).
anyways, about UberTwitter, hopefully that will change..
i love everything about it EXCEPT the picture uploading

Actually, I found a way to upload a picture to TwitPic.com instead of to UberTwitter even if you have UberTwitter.
If you go to TwitPic.com and click Setting, it will give/show you your unique email address that you can use. All you have to do to upload your phone picture to twitpic is
1) select the picture you want to upload
2) select the option "send as email"
3) send it to your unique twitpic email address
4) to add message to your twitpic, you need to edit the "Subject" of your email and it will show up as your caption.

hope this helps!
this is what i'm going to do from now on. UberTwitter is too good to ditch!

If I got more VMs I would totally switch that service on. I hate the text, but I get very few VMs so I will live with it for a while
