Hi,
I am new user of this forum, I have BB-9530.I have registered my PIN with Verizon, after that I am facing prob:
1. before registra to Verizon for BIS, I was able to use BB-App world, also my phone was getting connected with same.
2. I am having official SIM, my corporate didnt activate BIS on my SIM number, but its activated with GPRS pack.
3.Before registration to Verizon-Blackberry BIS site, I was easly used internet on my set through opera. But unable now...
4. When I connect now to BB-App world, it says.."Content protection enable, please disblae it" I dont know hw to disable it.
5. My BB-9530 is V-5.0.0.1041(bundle 1688 platform 4.2.0.456)

Please guide me to revert me back on my earlier postion i.e. before registration to Verizon-Blackberry Internet Service.

Was the device using BIS on your previous carrier? If so, you need to call that carrier and have them cancel the BIS account, which will release the PIN so you can set up BIS with Verizon.

Keep in mind that if this is not a Verizon branded device, you cannot activate it on Verizon's network. They will not allow it.

What mobile provider is the device now being used on? Reliance?
You need to ask Verizon to release the PIN.

For the Content Protection, Options > Security > Encryption. Disable all encryption and content protection on the media card and/or contacts.
