Default 103 Holster Issues

Please Login to Remove!

Hey all -

So I just upgraded to 103. I noticed now when I remove the phone from a "blackberry holster" (that is, on that puts the phone into sleep/standby) the FIRST virtual button I press does nothing.

Example: I remove my phone from my holster to look someone up in contacts. I press contacts, nothing happens. I press it again, contacts opens. This is consistent - it happens EVERY time I remove the phone from the holster and it's a bit of a PITA when I'm answering a call - I have to remember to push the physical button.

Anyone else noticed this? I don't think it was happening with .75 but maybe I just didn't notice it.

Any fixes?

Andy

Andy,

All Blackberries go into a sleep mode when clicked into the holster - at least that's what I have come to learn. My Curve always went into that mode when snapped into the holster. However it immediately "woke up" once I removed it.

Additionally, I had to answer the phone with the physical button when it rang on the Curve. I assume its the same on the Storm. Not such a big deal is it?

I don't have the Storm in a snap in holster.

Certainly not something that I think of as a problem.
