I upgraded to .122 this am.

So far, I like it. The camera is faster, the bb seems faster and I like the auto unlock (not using password) when removed from holster.

The upgrade was very easy, although very slow.

on my first update to this OS, i disliked how the radio could not hold a solid EDGE connection after a device reset, but i tried it again, this time for the last 2 hrs after a reboot, it still wiggled a bit with edge/EDGE but it is holding EDGE pretty solid now....

hopefully, the battery life improvement and portrait qwerty features are worth the upgrade to this OS, despite radio instability....

i think i will keep resets on the device to a minimal (maybe 2 times a week) as opposed to 4-5 times a day...

one thing i am observing is that the color gradients in the standard theme with this OS are not as blended and smooth as they were with .76. you have to look carefully at the icons and the on-screen button shading (both when highlighted and when not highlighted)....perhaps it's more visible when you select the media icon and the screen shows in black with the blend to blue.

Radio instability is definitely in this os if used with tmobile....at least that was my experience. What I did was switch the radio file with version .90 and reinstalled .122. Since then I have had constant EDGE and have not yet needed to do any reboots. Very stable indeed.

i tried this before and didn't like it much because some text on the phone was larger than it should be....for example, when in the calls/log window the words "My Number" would overlap the phone number by a few characters. i also noticed that the icons had larger text too.

at least that was the case for me when running the .122 hybrid from blackberryOS.com (v3.5.1).

i figured it's better to keep things simple and not to use hybrid operating systems on the phone....

so far EDGE has been stable for me for more than 10 hours since my last reset.

Installed this last week on my Verizon Storm and it ran great all weekend.
Camera has improved speed, which was my biggest gripe with the storm.

I have it on my Telus and so far so good, less battery pulls and memory seems to have stabled out, more responsive keyboard as well
