Just wanted to get some advice from all the BB folks.

I have had a 8300 for about 3 years now. I've seen many devices come out since them. Last night my cousin 10 years my junior got a Bold 9000 from a friend for about 200 and while playing with it I realized how quick and sleek it looked. The functionality was a lot better as well.

So it got me thinking is it time for an upgrade? What would I upgrade to?

I like the curve series but I'm use e-mail and internet quite a bit on my phone. I've been watching to see if there are other devices coming out this year but nothing so far just lots of rumours.

Any thoughts or recommendations going from a 8300?

Same advice as always applies. Pick your carrier first. If you are staying with Rogers, go into a store and handle the devices. All the better if the devices are on and you can play with them a little bit. Find what appeals to *you*. But by all means get a current generation device and not lastgen.

The 9700 (Bold 2) is nice. It is beautiful in the way the 8700 was when it came out.

I won't move from Rogers. I've been in the store and have seen the new curve and the new Bold. Both are excellent but I'm not sure if I should wait again for the "next" device. Last time I got the Curve 2 weeks later the 8310 came out and I missed out on it so I'm hoping this does not happen to me again.
