Hi all,
New to the forums. I loved my BB but moved over to the dark side being Apple.

Anyways I've got a BB Bold 9700 that I need to sell via Ebay sharpish!

So far I have:
- Rang up Vodafone and got them to send me the unlock code so that all carriers can be used with it and have unlocked it successfully..
- Rang up Vodafone to ask them to deregister my Pin and they said they've done it.

What else do I need to do, as I'm selling it on Ebay and I don't wanna miss something crucial/ get neg feedback etc as my feedbacks 100% at the moment.

Also I did use the email push service but don't know how to remove the accounts as I haven't got a fully functional sim in the BB as its in my iPhone 4.

And if I factory restore my phone, will the winner of the BB have any problems? Or how do I wipe all my data without messing up the phone, the offical BB website suggests entering an incorrect password 10 times but i'm slightly apprehensive it will fail and will brick the phone =/

Options > Security > Security Wipe... and that will remove all personal data, email accounts, messages, calendar, contacts, etc. You'll be fine.

Or enter the password wrong ten times, same difference. It won't brick the Blackberry.

How about wiping any IT policies? That is if you used it for work via BES and have IT policies residing on it.

And make sure you cancel the BIS account or transfer to another BB.

This is a good one cause whoever gets your blackberry will be getting your emails.

Can I just remove one of the email accounts from my Bold? I have removed it through the webclient but it is still showing as my default when I compose an email on my BB.

If you have scratches on the phone consider getting new housing for it and replace the scratched housing. Be careful before doing your own housing as it can be tricky though.

I already canceled my account. How do I remove my emails from my blackberry since I am not connected to the network??
