I'm trying to update my alltell BB curve 8330 with the telus os,

I went and down loaded the Telus software for the 8330, then installed it,

went in and Deleted the Vendor File and clicked on loader, it then asked the usual language and other stuff I had installed on my Curve, I clicked next and it says " no action required" do I need to remove the original OS or something??

I never got the white screen or the hour glass

I think it will override the OS you have on the device

Bunky, you need to make sure you new OS has a higher Application release number than the current. Names of carriers mean little, refer to the numbers.

The numbers are the Same so now what ??

Then the releases are exactly the same and there is no reason to update it. Because there is nothing to update.
