I have noticed this happen twice… after syncing, my SMS and phone calls are erased from the messages app.

I have a 7750 on Telus with Webclient and running OS 4.0

Could this be a bug in 4.0 or a hardware issue?

Called Telus bberry support and they suggested it's a hardware problem and to send my unit for repair.

Has anyone else experienced this?

One of my Users is experiencing the same issue. Outgoing SMS & Phone Calls are disappearing from the Messages Log after Sync. Tried Alt-S and a search on just SMS messages and they are not there.

I am going to test using another phone to see if a problem with the SIM Card. Will Post results later...

Hey there, I found out that the calls and SMS' were getting erased cause the memory was low on the unit. Therefore, the bberry sacrificed the phone and SMS logs to be able to sync the calendar, to-do list, notes, etc.

Get your user to check the ava. memory on the unit.

I am unsure I mentioned the User is not receiving SMS messages, however can send them.

I have 4 Users on BB Handheld 4.0 and the person who is having this problem as the most memory left of all of us - 5774Kb. I have 387Kb and all seems OK for me.
