Great program!!!

I installed it and up and was running in no time... No problems here!!!

Quick question for Mark... For the RSS feeds? How do you limite the amount of feeds storred on your Blackberry (Some RSS Readers have a setting to limit this number)? Or do you have to clear the content manually?

Thanks Mark!!! Keep up the amazing work!

Question

When I reply through PocketDay, it still won't let me choose my Comcast email account, even if I choose it in the reply menu. When the reply opens, I can only choose between the tmo account (which I never use) and my corporate account.

Only one problem- many of the rss feeds I like will show dling data and yet display empty. Slashdot is an example - as it gizmodo and engadget. Any ideas?

Pentarus, there's no limits in PD for the feeds or the content.

Jubrand, this is a limitation on the BB itself. You can only have 2 'From' accounts, your webclient and your corporate one. You can change the Reply-To with PD, but not the From.

Bratag, some feeds are too big for WAP connections to download. Are you using a WAP connection?

I am - but the feeds do not appear to be particularly large pspupdates for instance dl's 54k and then just shows the hour glass for about 30 seconds and shows empty. Other feeds are in fact larger.

Could is be something in the xml header?

A list:

slashdot.org/rss/index.rss
www.gizmodo.com/index.rdf
www.pspupdates.com/atom.xml

Others I have work just fine like techbargains which is a very large feed.

Thanks

Bratag,

These are Atom and RDF feeds. A bit more advanced than PD can handle right now. I'll check into getting these going.

Thanks tirsch. No luck fixing the DSC error when you try to assign bluetooth to a shortcut key, huh?

No, the bluetooth is a RIM problem.

Found a small bug:

- Open the application
- Open menu and select 'Settings...'
- Select 'RSS Settings'
- Open menu and select 'Add Feed from List'
- Hit escape

'Uncaught exception: 1>= 1'

Only seems to happen when there are no RSS feeds defined yet.

Thanks for the quick response.

I also have a couple of requests:

- I like the speeddail a lot. Is it possible to use the existing speeddail list or at least copy the existing speeddail list (so I don't have to program all the speeddail numbers twice)
- Can a number that is not in the contactlist be used?
- I always loose my speeddail numbers after exiting the application. I think this is a bug?
- Is it possible to remove the warnings about accessing the phone log (at startup) and initialing a phone call (when using the speeddail function)?
- In MyStocks, is it possible to show the change in percentage?
- When there are more stocks configured than can be shown on 1 page it is difficult to see them. Can that be improved?

Keep up the good work!

sddroog,

Rim doesn't allow access to almost any of it's own config info so I can't get the speeddial information. A number not in the contact list cannot currently be used. Speeddial settings are saved upon exit from that screen, I can't understand how they could be getting lost. I'll check further. I can't change the phone log warnings, your carrier put them there. You can minimize the initial phone log one by setting the option called 'Hide PD on ESC' in the general settings.

Stocks currently don't show the percentage, but it's already on the 'todo' list. How many stocks do you have listed that they don't fit on a single page? What font are you using?
