I was messing around with my device and changed the input method to Spanish just to see what it was, I then changed it back, and I cant remember if this was there before, but now anytime I type something "EN" shows up in the top right corner over the reception bar.

I don't think this was there before, I would have noticed it...

I did a battery pull... didn't fix it. Went through the on phone setup to remove all languages I did not use. EN is still there. (for ENGLISH)

Any ideas? Its not really affecting me, but is annoying me.

Options->Language->Notify Me

Edit: Actually, this doesn't work. Maybe the issue is theme-controlled; try switching themes and see what happens.

Any time you type or just in some applications?

switching themes didn't do it...

and it happens in ALL applications.

Even when my phone is locked and i press unlock and it prompts me for my password, it will say it in the top right corner, before I even begin typing.

I think this feature is activated as soon as you have more than one language installed on your device. At least this is the case with my Bold.

I went through the setup wizard and removed all languages except english.

When I go to 'switch input language' nothing even comes up anymore as there are no other languages... but the EN is still there.... maybe I have to reset firmware?
