Hello All,

I am with Rogers on a 100 SMS, and 2 MB data plan. I use both wifi and 3G. Is there a way to track how much data I use on 3G only? a program or application, and if not is the data breakdown displayed on the monthly bill?

Also, since I have a 100 SMS, is there a way to track how many I have sent? Is there a program/app that I can download? Again, is this info displayed on the monthly bill?

I have 3 mths unlim data, so I am going to see if I should go to a higher data plan (500 MB), or go back to a UL BB Email plan.

No way to break out the 3G only data you use that I am aware of.

Does your carrier's website offer a service to show minutes, data and SMS usage? I know ATT does. It is about a day or so out of date, but better than noting if you are that concerned.

I am with Rogers, and I don't believe they do. I'll look into it. I guess if my data usage is over 2 MB by a lot, then I will switch my data plan to the UL Email plan.

The only way to tell with Rogers is to phone them or look at your montly bill. If you plan to use data at all, you're gonna need a data plan bigger then 2MB. 2MB will go in an instant.

I'm with rogers and the plan i got was the $45 Talk and data plan. 200 minutes, My5 Can wide, 500mb data. I haven't gotten my frist bill yet, so i'll see how much data i've used. Since this is my frist BB, i've used alot of data just playing around with MSN and the browser.

If browsing isn't gonna be a big thing for you, you can go to the $45 BB messaging plan. Unlimited email, unlimited IM (MSN, Yahoo) and 10k SMS and 1k MMS.
