Default BlackBerry Curve stopped working

The other day I had dropped my phone in some water and took it out to dry, but yet my phone doesnt seem to be water damaged, or at least I dont think so. I have researched and saw that the red dot and sticker on the device and battery will turn pink but yet mine are white. I dont know if it water damaged or not. It hasn't turned on since Friday night so I'm at a loss

Take the back off and remove the battery from the BB.
Put the BlackBerry in a bag of rice for 4 days...

See what happens then. That's about all you can do.

It's water damaged. It doesn't turn on after dropping it into water? Not hard to figure this one out.

That seems to be the most common answer I will try that.
