This question might easy for some of you guys. I use Gmail a lot and it's obviously set up on my Bold. The problem I have with either my Bold or Gmail, don't know...is that every time I send an E-Mail from Gmail on my computer, a copy of that sent E-Mail is sent to my Bold. It's annoying! I love getting my E-Mail but I DO NOT want a copy of every sent E-Mail sent to my Bold.

1) log into your bb webmail
2) delete your gmail account
3) re add your gmail account
4) set up a filter so it doesnt send any emails From your gmail address.
5) enjoy.

I would suggest using the Gmail App for Blackberry. It is more robust and keeps all Gmail seperate from Message box.

Step 4 is no longer needed with BIS 2.6 that was released this weekend.

You will need to remove and re-add you account.

I posted this reply to another thread, but it was on an old thread...

So, here goes. We had a setting with filters and tags in GMail that when deleting an email from "Mailbox and Handheld" on the blackberry, it would archive GMail's copy.

Now, with BIS 2.6, and the Advanced IMAP features in GMail enabled and set to:

Enable IMAP
Do not automatically expunge messages
Archive the message

Its still being moved to the trash. Any ideas?
