Default Any solution for the EMM HTML BIS issue?

Please Login to Remove!

I posted a while back about Exchange My Mail disabling BIS HTML in their BES policy. When you contact their reps, they blame it on the wireless carrier (whomever you are with) but the fact of the matter is it is disabled after you activate on their BES server. Did anyone ever find a work around for this?

I was curious about your post so I went to the web site for the service you listed. The site offers just about every service one would want but when you dig into the actual details there are none. I even looked at the Blog posts and it was amazing there are none about HTML or any other discussion on web services. I then spotted an article on Facebook. I thought it was about accessing the service via this BIS service offering. Digging deeper it was just an article on Facebook being available on Blackberry per RIM but no mention they are allowing the service. If I were to look at the stated offerings this company has to offer it looks like it is basic email via their BIS servers for Outlook or other email systems. So unless I missed something I would say youxxx8217;re out of luck.

I used Exchange My Mail for about 6 months.
They offer full hosted Exchange server.
Their service was great, I just didn't need hosted BES anymore. I also used my BIS in addition to the hosted BES.
They used to be a sponsor here, not sure if they are now.

They seem to offer a good email service but as the OP wondered, Nothing is clear on the use of the browser via their servers. Maybe the overhead is too much for them.
did you use the browser with the service? If it worked for you maybe he has a setting wrong somewhere.

Well unless they changed their service offering, it should work. Seems very unusual that they would block HTML use.

I agree.
I would make a call to their tech service (daytime) and they will make sure everything is working.
