Default unlocked storm 9500 and need help

how do i change my gprs what is the username and password i am on pay & go and cannot be sent the setting so i need to change it and i do not no how any help ?

You need the blackberry-specific data service to use the blackberry branded services. This would include blackberry messenger and the various instant messenger apps published by RIM. The generic mobile data service isn't going to do it for you if you want these features.

You may have some data functionality on the generic data service, but make sure you aren't paying per kB. Talk to your service provider, and see

But you will likely be unhappy with the device without a blackberry data plan.

You buy the blackberry data plan from your mobile service provider.

Also, I can't see your profile using the wap forum. But look at the threads stickied at the top of the 9500 series forum.
