Is this why I am still having problems with the BIS browser?
It hangs up and keeps saying requesting. Or is this ATT problem both BB and Media Net keep hanging up and unable to connect been 2 days already and intermittent

Thanks
5 min waiting to connect to the internet is ridiculous. That's if it does connect

Anyone hear an ETR yet with this ticket? Just got my Berry on Saturday and it would be nice to get some e-mail!

Everything's working fine as far as BIS email goes. I don't know why you wouldn't be getting emails. Try logging into the BIS and resend your service books.

It won't let me log in to BIS as I'm a new user, so I haven't been able to set up any accounts due to this outage. Thanks though!

I'm able to login to mine with no problems. I would contact AT&T and see if there's a problem with your account. No BIS issues have been reported and BIS emails are working fine.

In DC here. For the past hour I'm getting nothing and re-sending books still have not been received yet. The crappy thing my work blackberry (on edge is working fine) but my 3g data is not working on my bold. Only 3G Voice! And therefore my att bold won't switch to edge towers...totally lame ATT!! Kudos whoever hoisted the money for a rogers bold sigh.

Default outage

Mine is out also (8830 WE on Sprint). i have been kicked up to advanced tech support and they indicate that there is a national outage with provisioning. I also can get text and voice, but no data. Argggg. They told me that I have to wait for the issue to clear, with no timeframe for the fix.

Are you able to login to your BIS account?

The thread you posted in had to do with provisioning BIS accounts, not regarding receiving data.

Provisioning: having the BIS account "connected" with the handheld device and service books pushed to the device.

I would do that, and then even remove the battery (while powered on) on your BB, reinsert and reboot.

Anyone know when this will be fixed? I have a ticket open with RIM and they added me to a tracer of some sort due to the issue. It just says "We apologize an error occured" when I try to get into BIS on my phone or my t-mobile website.

As far as has been reported, there is no current BIS outage.

You should ask TMo for a ticket number if they say there is. It could regional or a local issue to you.
