Default Facebook App SLOWWWWWWWW :(

Please Login to Remove!

Has anyone else having problems with facebook app being very very very slow?????? It takes about 40secs or longer to load a photo (even on wi-fi). If I go to the mobile site from the options its is fine, only when using the app.

ive got the 8900 and my girlfirends got the 8250 and it works fine on hers, weather she is on wi-fi or not, mine is stupidly slow, ive unistalled it and tried it againand its still the same. I even cleared my phone last week and reinstalled the latest OS and put facebook on first without anything else on the phone and its STILL useless :(

hope someone can help me on this or is it just that its rubbish on the 8900???

thanks alot

What Facebook app version are you using? .22 is the latest, if you haven't loaded it.

And what 8900 OS?

There's lots of details you haven't posted, all would help.

Could try updating your OS.

How much memory do you have left on the phone.
When you generally connect to facebook on you on EDGE or what service is coming up, your coverage could explain it.

it doesnt make any difference if im on EDGE or GPRS or wi-fi.

im on the latest OS from my provider.

the memory cant be a problem because i wiped the handset, put the latest OS on and the first thing i installed was facebook, i tried it and it was still just as slow, i cant understand why? i thought it might be an issue with the 8900 because my girlfriends 8520 works fine with it on EDGE GPRS or wi-fi
