Not getting ALL emails on my TMobile 8320

So because I live in a Verizon Dead Zone I thought I would get rid of my 8830 and get the 8320 with TMobile as it has slightly better service in my neighborhood but more importantly can jump on my WiFi at home using the TMobile Hot Spot at home service. I have a yahoo business email account and have no spam filtering (or the lowest level) set up on line so that I get plenty of email (and spam) into my Outlook on my desktop in my office. I started noticing that I was not getting as much email on my 8320 as my 8830. In fact, I noticed I was not getting a lot of spam, which was fine, but then other messages were also not coming through which I actually needed to get. Just to check that I was not going crazy, I turned on my 8830 and it was getting everything. So, it was clear to me that the 8320 was not getting all of my emails. Calls to TMobile and 3 calls to the good folks at BB have resulted in no improvement--at their direction, I have deleted the email account from the BB on line service (we do not have BES), reinstalled it, sent service books, done the nonsense with removing the battery, etc., but nobody can explain to me why I am not getting every single email that is sent to me. This is a bit of a problem, of course--anyone have any idea how to fix it as I want to keep this phone as it allows me to use it at home due to the WiFi feature.
