Question Scheduling synch with BES

Please Login to Remove!

Hi,
I have a question I was asked recently. Employees in my organization travel abroad very often. To reduce the roaming costs they switch off/on receving data while roaming to still be able to check all their emails, ie. every 1-2 hours.
Is there any way of doing this automatically? Maybe there is an app which does so which will be very helpful?
Please advise if there's anything I can do to improve this.
Thank you.

There's no way to schedule automatic on/all every hour.

I don't think you're saving much $$ by doing this. The BlackBerry device itself does not check for mail periodically, instead it waits for the server to send it mail. So whether you're getting your messages in realtime or in bulk (by turning the BB off/on) you're using the same amount of data.

Of course this exlcude any third party software you may have that uses Internet connectivity.
