If you have your BB Data Plan with ATT you should be ok.

3G will not work, You should get EDGE just fine.

Make sure it is truly 'unlocked'. Horizon Wireless says that the Vodafone Storms are not unlocking like they should. After entering the unlock code, they reset and are still locked. Horizon is getting unbranded GSM Storms that are not locked to a carrier yet. That is the way I'm going.

It doesn't support the ATT 3G band.

The "frequency" at which the 3G signal is delivered (or not in this case) to your Storm.

The 9500 for Vodafone was developed with a European specification for the 3G, not the US/North American specification.

Like two trains of different rail widths. You just can't pick one up over in Europe lay it on the tracks here in the US... different rail widths. Sorta a good analogy.
