Hey guys, I'm just learning how to upload programs to my Blackberry. I am tryin to put BB Correcter and BB Light on my 8700C and it wont take a .jad file it says only .alx files. Any way around it? Or will these programs work on mine? Thanks!

Oh and will these phones take MP3 ringtones? From my understanding they won't. Sorry about the double topic!

Jad files are for downloadong over the air (OTA) via your BB browser.

JAD files are for over the air download via the browser.

ALX/COD files download to the PC, and install via Desktop Manger/App Loader.

mp3 tunes, yes. Download from your BB browser is the best way.

If you've already downloaded the JAD file on your hard drive, is there no way to install it? How about moving it to your BB and executing it from there?
