Try formatting the card again and then move files back in, one folder at a time. Move music in first....run for a while. Then move in ringtones...run for a while. You're just going to have to narrow it down. Also, if you just copied the entire file structure back to the card you may have copied the old formatted file structure back and caused the same problem. Copy the folders back individually and one at a time to see if you can narrow it down. A little detective work is going to be necessary here.

I was in the process of dragging my video files, (after dragging my documents, ringtones, and songs) and it restarted. What the problem?

How long did you let it sit before dragging the video files? Was it fine until you started dragging the videos?

Wirelessly posted

One thought, mWollens3...the "Documents" file under the Blackberry folder in you card formatting did not exist till 4.5. I'm not sure that I see a point in re-creating these folders, since they would have been created/re-formatted after your 4.5 install anyway... I'm not sure I believe these issues are memory card formatting related. Had you been monitoring your available memory before/during all of these operations? It could very well be due to an unrelated memory issue generated by the various operations you had put the OS through.......Video file, depending upon your utilization prior to OS 4.5, could have been quite large anyway, if you had used converter software to save lots of 3gpp files like I do....let me know. Heading to OS dreamworld, will check post in morning, good luck.

For about 10 minutes. And yes it was fine until the videos came along

Maybe you can isolate the problem to one particular file.
Drag them one at a time, and see if one of them causes the issues you're having.

My friend, as I said a few posts up, you're going to have to do a little detective work here. You are using a beta OS. This is the risk you run. I don't know why it's rebooting. But we've obviously narrowed it down. You have the BB in front of you and are able to troubleshoot it. I don't. I'm happy to help but you have to do a little of the work and thinking here.

Default Blackberry Tech Support Documents Idea

I know this isn't the error you were receiving, but when I got this RSS entry from Blackberry's tech support documentation, I figured it might lead you in the right direction:

Memory card contains error, please use disk checking utility on computer
BlackBerry Search Results

Again, I've never had any issues with this kind of thing, and I've swapped OS like Sarah Jessica Parker does shoes. I figure it may just be a generic issue. Let me know if this helps.

I quickly read over it and I'll give it a try tonight. Thanks.
