AT&T Bold Users,

If, like me, you've been having problems with the 3G, Edge, and WiFi network either continuously flipping or just hanging, I'd encourage you, if you haven't already done so, to do a firmware update by going on your Bold to Settings->Advanced Options->Wireless Upgrade.

Seems this upgrade came out last month and will update your software platform to 4.0.0.217 which fixes a known bug in the radio/firmware interactions and makes the network so much more stable! It's been fantastic since I've upgraded. Oomble (and all my other network intensive apps) works like a charm now! I highly recommend the upgrade - I think it will resolve some of the problems previously posted. Please let us know if it doesn't!
