Hello.

I have a blackberry 9000 phone which has been unlocked from orange.

I have been trying to use a o2 pay as you go sim with it. My problem is that even though it has full signal, gprs indicator on i cannot make or receive calls or nor can i use sms. Only thing i can do with it is browse internet using home wifi connection.

Hope someone can help.

Robert

For data services, you would need a BlackBerry data package, which I do not believe that you can get on Pay-As-You Go.

I suspect that may depend on the carrier. May want to check with yours just to be sure.

If the device is truly unlocked, this should work.

Have you tested the SIM card in any other device? Can it make/receive calls?
