Is it possible that I (BIS user) do not receive e-mails when I am currently logged on with my MSN Messenger or Outlook on my PC? It seems to me that e-mails that I receive during the time I am logged on on my PC are not fowarded to the Blackberry. Is this right or is there any other problem why I do not receive all e-mails?

You need to set outlook to leave a copy on the server or outlook scoops it up before the BIS server sees it to forward it to the blackberry

Thanks for the prompt reply. But it is a MAPI account (Hotmail to be precise). I think it leaves all messages on the server, doesn't it?

Not sure there, i know it wont give you that option under IMAP tho, can set it up as POP however

The thing is, that I do not want to set up as POP. Are you sure that IMAP also sends something that hinders the forwarding to the BB?

Its not that it sends anything, only thing i can see with imap is outlook marks it as read, so it doesnt get forwarded.

I could be wrong, and someone with more imap experience might answer
