Default Willyboy 8900 v5.2 .732/.748?

Has anyone tried this hybrid yet? I just downloaded and installed it and this version runs VERY fast and all of my applications run perfectly.

I am ALMOST tempted to try the hybrid 6.0 and see how well that version runs on my 8900.

Has else had success with the v5.2 .732/.748 ??

the 6.0 hybrid runs fine on the blackberry 8900, but there is nothing to gain from it. discovered no new (6.0) features in it.

It works faster than .681 (beta). That's all I can tell right now.

I ran the 681 stock, the 5.2 hybrind and am now running the os 6 hybrid.

Yeah, they are pretty nice. Very stable and the browser is pretty damn fast (for a bb).

I say go for it!

And no, there are almost no new features from os 6. As of the latest hybrid, only about 30 files from os6 have been loaded; most of these are minor and do not have much to do with most of the OS.

IIRC, the send using bluetooth files are from os 6. so are a few others.

So, no you wont see a lot of new functionality, but its worth teh upgrade because of the speed / memory / batery improvements.

Good luck!
