Not very confident in doing an OTA OS upgrade

with the track record of OS's for the Storm i am leary of doing an OTA OS Update which is what it looks like verizon is going to push in the short future.

I would much rather do a clean install from a PC

also if it is an OTA or a PC update it will most likely be designed to install over .075

so those of us who our running unofficial OS's may need to down grade ??

Given your history with the Storm, I'd think you would want to wait for an officially released Verizon version.

From what I've read here, various sources indicate that it either was scheduled to come out last month, last week, or within the next 12 months.

I agree i am using .132 and everything seems to be working well now

My point is that an OTA install will most likely cause more issues with storms that have corrupt OS's already or beta's

Plus it creates hidden VENDOR.XML files (see John Clark's sticky thread on OTA updates) and I personally agree with avoiding them.
