Default WTH is wrong with my 8830?

Please Login to Remove!

when I am on a call, my phone beeps so freaking loudly in my ear I can't hear the other party. I believe it is related to my email receiving new msgs. How can I turn this off? please help before I break my bb into a million pieces...

Welcome to the OS. That is a known issue is some OSes. What OS are you running?

I believe that's the most recent release for the 8830. Did you have this issue before upgrading to this OS?

no, no issues at all. can the other party hear this chirp as well? what a terrible sound. Absolutely obnoxious. starting to hate bb

Downgrade back to your previous OS.
