Uninstall OS from your PC and you will no longer get this prompt when you connect device.

I know this has been probably asked, but how can you tell what version a beta OS is for what phone... ie... does this version work for the 8830, or is it only for newer devices?

OS's are device specific so this OS we are talking about are for the bold only.

For those with AT&T with AT&T Bold, do you guys have a problem connecting to AT&T WiFi Hotspot? It seems like I have a problem connecting since .210 upgrade. But no problem with .190. WiFi works at home and at my friends house, but just not at the AT&T WiFi HotSpots.

4.6.0.210 has been running very smoothly for me... however I'm still unable to have clickable (hotlinks) links in blackberry messenger. I miss having this feature and hopefully it's working in future builds. Other than that I'm loving .210 and everything seems to be great.

powercx: Yeah sux eh? I can't use Bell hotspots either because the way Bell has set it up, is that you have to log in via a webpage that uses AJAX. Of course the BB browser does not display this. It IS possible to log in though. By moving REALLY fast I was able to click the link before it disappeared and eventually I was able to log in.

The amount of effort it took to test the hotspot out was so not worth it.

I guess Bell thinks only laptop users will use their hotspot.

Bell Hotspots are at every starbucks in ontario, and if you have a bell sympatico membership use of the hotspot is free. Otherwise if you have a sbux card, you get some free time too.

I upgraded to .210 yesterday. This morning I am unable to turn WiFi on. When I click the box it waits a few seconds anf then just unclicks. I thought I had WiFi last night at home, but I cant be 100% sure.

Any thoughts?

Never mind. A battery pull fixed it. At least for now.

You were able to connect to Bell Hotspots before .210 upgrade? It's not a big deal for me for the Hotspot connection, I'm sure they'll fix that on the next upgrade, but sometimes it's nice when I'm sitting somewhere and there happens to be AT&T Hotspot to connect on and my phone is on EDGE, it would be convenient.

I was just curious to know if it's just me.

I just had a Wi-Fi issue with 210 where the Wi-Fi radio turned itself off and would only stay enabled for a second or 2. Also while this was going on, I lost BES connectivity (which normally routes through the Wi-Fi). Battery was at 90% so it wasn't disabling because of power.

Just thought I'd report it.

A few things I noticed. On .190 my bold would reboot at least once a day or twice a day sometimes. So far so good on .210. Also, I have a little bit more memory free and battery life is awesome! 8 hours of use so far, I would normally have about 40%-50% left by now....and I have 70% left.

Internet browsing seems faster and pages load quicker. Also its seems when I open a program, it loads faster. Could be my imagination, but it seems faster in general.

Has anyone had any issues with .210 ? Seen a few have issues with wifi settings. Mine seems to work flawlessly

With the stuff I've been reading, I'd have to say no to all of that.
