It's the count down...note they said it is the THIRD one to the right...i am presuming the next release is the farthest left...followed by the next and then the 8130....

It's all a personal preference! The form factor is what lead me to choose the Pearl. If you prefer a full qwerty then the pearl is not the way to go. In no way to I feel the Pearl is more "superior"....it's all about what works for you!

I caught a glimpse of the VZW pearl at my RIM data training today. We were not briefed on the release date yet though. Q4 for VZW will definately be big with the release of at least 6 new devices (two PDA) launching as soon as 10/9.

Not from what I can tell. Every Northern Illinois VZW rep is in data training for the next two days and this was still hush hush with no specific details released.

I recently have a new business deal and i will need to be traveling to Switzerland a few times a year and i am looking at upgrading to the Verizon world phone.

Does anyone know if the rumored pearl or curve will have the world roaming ability?

Dawg, I thought the same thing about the trackball. But after getting the 8830 in my hands, it took about, oh, 45 seconds to get used to it. I like the setup much better then my old 8703e.
