It'll be up today, I understand, at which time no invite codes will be needed.

BlackBerry - MyBlackBerry is what is currently up and running. At the bottom is the registration link, however it is requiring an invite code to sign up.

so its basically like the owners lounge, but better?

I like the video that states for users all around the world.
and on the registration page, the only 2 countries are US and Canada.

Yeah, but a slow-roll is a good idea, considering what happened to gdgt on their opening day - servers could not stay up longer than 15 mins at a time. I am trying to be patient, and somewhat failing, and wait for their whole grand opening of the flood gates, but I bet it will be next week before the general populace of the interwebz are allow to join.

the problem is, as they dont state its currently for US/Canada, anyone like me who's just heard /heard about it before will be trying to get on the wesbite to register, only to find out they cant.
i.e. they'll be storming the servers anyway.

I can only hope that it will become available to "the world" as they really cant say it is if it isnt.
hmm...maybe i could sue RIM...then i wouldnt have to get a job.
LOL

And what happened... it still requires an invite code to register?

Looks like every social networking site/tool thrown into a blender and they dropped a BB into it

I hope RIM keeps it's very organized...

Wirelessly posted

I'm not even getting that. I get a sign in screen that won't accept my normal sign in. Says its invalid. I guess they haven't rolled it out to everyone yet.

wjereb, ... "accept my normal sign in". What do you mean by normal sign in?

Have you registered for the site, etc.?

When I go to myblackberry.com all I get is a screen that looks like the BIS signin screen. Just two fields are there, user name and password.

I guess RIM will get around to mailing out invites at some point. Until then the site is pretty useless.
