I have a 7100g and noticed that when I charge the phone via the USB cable connected to my PC it charges fine, ONLY if I have the Desktop Manager software installed. If I connect it to a PC without the Desktop Manager installed it appears to be charging but it isn't. The battery indicator shows that it is charging, but no charging is going on. I have had several of my users report this as well. Most of them haven't installed the Desktop Manager software to thier own PC's yet.
I left the devcie connected to the PC w/o the software installed for almost an hour and all it did was drain the battery down 10%. I then connected it to the PC w/the software and it charged the device up in no time at all.

Has anyone heard of this before?
