Default Help to transfer pushed email to new curve

Please Login to Remove!

when I had the 8700, I signed up for yahoo plus, and have had my email pushed through (I am BIS)...now with the new curve, even though I carry the same cell phone number, and have the same email set up, my mail does not push through. I completely do not remember how I originally set it up on the 8700, but how does one change it over to the new curve berry? Do I do that on the berry side or the yahoo side? Is it just amatter of updating the PIN? I went to the yahoo site and looked around for info, found none. Thought I would check with you guys here, before I start soliciting help from yahoo. Much appreciated

If I don't get my push...my berry is worthless to me, for it is the SOLE reason I own it!

Jelly, go to your AT&T BIS site, signin your account there, and look for setup or the link to your internet mail setup for your BlackBerry. There you need to find the link to change your device. You will need to enter your new PIN and IMEI numbers. They can br found at Options > Status.

ok, will try your way...I went to yahoo and went under mail options, pop access and forwarding> set mail addresses to forward to> I put in my new bb email adress and tried to confirm it after yahoo sent, and when I click on the link and sign in it says that my browser is preventing a URL redirect....
what is up with that? My yahoo email is the same. But my bb email I did change with the curve (forget I had). Do I still need to go to ATT BIS site and program new pin and ID etc?

Yes, if you want your yahoo mail or whatever else sent to your BB, the BIS needs to know the PIN. Think of it as moving from home to home. You need to tell all your friends (yahoo email) what the new address is.

...ok, I just clicked on the link, and tried to create new account, I put in the right PIN and IME number and it keeps saying I am putting in the wrong numbers (I did it and verified x3, so it isn't an input issue).

Should i be logging into an existing and making the change or creating a new account?
